Description

When we bought it, in 1991, the house was one of the many neglected farm buildings in Italian countries. The original structure dates back to 1546 (graved on the slab in front of the chimney of the house), but has undergone several modifications. The restoration and structural repair has been conducted respecting local traditional technologies and materials, as well as the furnishing. The same philosophy has been followed in the choice of plants, inserting only aboriginal ones, from fruit trees to wild roses, to have the softer impact in the environment.
All our 9 rooms may host from 1 to 4 persons. Our guests will be able to take a holiday in one of the most beautiful Italian regions with welcome and cares up to consent them to enjoy an unpolluted nature, the services of our wellness centre and, on request, at the same time to follow a program of cultural entertainments and artistic activities.

Surroundings

We are in Metauro River medium-high valley, a river which represents the backbone of the area. We are in the core of Urbino's and Pesaro's County, sunk in a sweet hill landscape at the foot of Umbro-Marchigiano Apennines.
The river crosses the area sometimes slipping over sandstone slabs to form beautiful water falls, sometimes excavating them to create picturesque gorges, interesting for their geological, vegetation and faunal peculiarities.
At less than 40km from Urbino, approximately 70km from Adriatic sea coast, 100km from Perugia.
