Description

The house is an isolated and excellently renovated country cottage, it is the ideal solution if you wish to spend a pleasant holiday in the beautiful south Tuscan country.
The house is a classic huge country house: on the first floor there are three double rooms, two bathrooms, ample kitchen with a mezzanine with one more bed, a very spacious  living room and a dining room overlooking the garden.
At ground floor the ex-stable has been converted in a huge rustic living-amusement- room with also a ping-pong table.
Situated on a hill, from where you can enjoy wonderful views of uncontaminated areas, the house is endowed of a swimming pool, comfortable spaces to be lazy and a portico with a table to lunch outdoor surrounded by vine-grapes and by a three acres garden.
In the garden, in an ex-hay loft, there is another kitchen, a brick oven and a barbecue to cook pizzas and grille food.

Surroundings

The House is situated on the east border of Val d'Orcia, an area rich of woods and ancient villages and castles. It's at 50 km. from the splendid art city of Perugia, at 30 from the Renaissance elegant little town of Pienza. In about 20 km. you can reach westward Trasimeno lake and Magione, northward Chianciano spa and Montepulciano, very famous for its wines, going south-west you reach the beautiful, historical fortress of Radicofani and the via Cassia, one of the Roman consular roads, which crosses al the Orcia Valley till to Siena.
