Description

The Country house is in an ancient rural village entirely restored, with a still consecrated church and the farm accessories (pigsty, poultry house, oven).
In the restoration the original characters have been preserved, as wooden beams and terracotta tiles.
The house is situated on a plain in front of mount Subasio, over which lay, well visible, Assisi and Spello. It is immersed in hectares of cultivated land, crossed by country roads easily to go through with the bicycles we put at guests disposition.
The accommodation is in rooms with private bathroom, 2 suites and two adjacent double rooms with common bathroom, all furnished with original befinning of XX century furniture.
The house also disposes of a huge kitchen where it is possible to taste the typical local specialities as well as the “sagrantino” wine of the surrounding hills, and where cuisine classes are organised.
Outside there is a wide garden with a swimming pool (8x14) with solarium, open from June to September.
We offer to guests a great variety of proposal, all intended for quiet, well-being and culture.

Surroundings

The House is situated in a quiet unpolluted area, immersed in the green at about 1,5 km from Bevagna, an ancient little town near Perugia. It is in the middle of the Umbra valley, which runs for 25km from Assisi to Spoleto, and which has always been one of the most important artistic-cultural axes of the region.
We are at 15km from Foligno, 12km from Montefalco, 20 from Spello, 25km from Assisi, about 40km from Perugia and Spoleto.

Activities

Our position is ideal to visit the many cities of art and religious interest all around, as Assisi, Perugia, Spello, Spoleto, all reachable in less than one hour by car.
During the stay it's possible to use the swimming pool and solarium (from June to the end of August), our mountain bikes, and make long walks both by foot and by horse (there is a riding school at short distance) and to follow typical local cuisine classes.
Beside, in the farms of the surroundings it is possible to taste local wines and other products.

Food, wine and crafts

In the area it is possible to buy Sagrantino, typical wine of these hills, a top quality extra-virgin olive oil and cold cuts.
