103bis - Talamone - Grosseto

Description

The farm, situated in a very quiet area and immersed in the green of Maremma's country, it is about 100acres, of which three are woods, three of olive trees and twenty of sunflowers. Here our guests will find a familiar welcome, hospitality and relax in the wide lane or under cypress and pine trees shadow.
We have 4 apartments, :2 two rooms of 35sm for3-4 beds; 2 three rooms with two bathrooms for 4/5 beds, one of 50sm and one of 70sm with 4/7 beds, 1 three rooms with two bathrooms of 50sm for 4/5 beds. All are at ground floor, with private furnished garden, TV, fitted kitchen.
In the farm we raise horses of Maremmana race, very though and mild, with whom we organise pleasant promenade. The sea is only a few minutes of distance.

Surroundings

Our House is ideal for fans of nature and families with children: in a short time it's possible to reach marvellous places as the long beach of the Silver Coast (5min), the Natural Park of Maremma, with the Mediterranean wood and native animals (15min), Orbetello's WWF Oasis, one of the most beautiful in Italy with about 150 species of birds, the Mount Argentario area, a holiday resort for many vips (20min), the famous Saturnia's spa (40min), beside numberless historical Medieval villages and archaeological areas of Etruscan and Roman period.

Activities

At the farm: horse riding and free use of bicycles.
In the surroundings:
- Fishing tours at Talamone (10min): one day trips on board of a fishing boat to assist to the pulling on board of the fish net, and they will show you the different kinds of fishing, tell you about the flora and fauna of Maremma's Park and the history of Talamone;
- At 6km a nine-holes golf with driving range;
- At 6km windsurf and kite surf;
- You'll be able to assist to horse taming in a nearby farm;
- Birdwatching in the nearby Orbetello's Oasis (W.W.F.), open from September 1st to April 30th , guided visits.

Food, wine and crafts

In our farm you may purchase extra-virgin olive oil and wine, and we are up to let you taste all the other local typical products either in our farm or in other ones nearby.
