Description
Sunk in the green and quiet country, in a farm 8hectares wide basically of olive trees, the house enjoys a splendid panorama of the valley overlooked by Assisi, the holy city of St. Francis; a small area where truffles grow and an orchard supply to the restaurant materials for typical dishes and exquisite preserves of fruit. Three small houses obtained in three farm buildings, recently accurately reorganised maintaining the original architectural characters and furnished with folksy furniture, each for 2+2 persons, with kitchenette, bathroom, and independent access and outdoor living space.
In another country house nearby there is the restaurant where the guests may, if willing to, take their meals. All around garden furniture, tables under the olive trees and a swimming pool are there to relax outdoor, there are no fences and several paths consent to take pleasant walks in a rural surrounding.

Surroundings
Our country house is situated on the hill between Assisi and Spello, at the same height of Assisi and 5km from its centre. The house is surrounded by woods and olive trees. All around the area is freckled with small and interesting historic centres; at a very short distance passes the free way going to the splendid cities of art of Perugia and Spoleto, so that the house can also make a good basis when there is the famous Spoleto's Festival of Two Worlds.Umbria Travelguide.
ActivitiesIt is possible to take walks and go trekking both by foot or horse riding (not for beginners), to swim in the pool, and it's possible to follow the procedures to make cheese and the harvest and milling of the olives.It's also interesting to visit the many religious and historical centres in the surroundings. |
