Poggio Bustone Sanctuary
The Convent is located on the first rises of Mount Rosone, a little north of the town, Poggio Bustone (pop. 2162, 756 meters a.s.l.) surrounded by a beautiful panorama, rich in woods and reliefs. The air is already that of the mountains.
Poggio Bustone became famous for its favorable conditions for paragliding and hang-gliding, so much so that it has been home to many international competitions.
The take-off area for paragliders is reached by the first asphalt then unpaved street that leaves from the Sanctuary.
