Description

The house is welcoming and cosy environment which has been painstakingly prepared in every detail. A traditional kitchen with 19th century furniture and beamed ceiling, rooms with parquet floors and Murano glass light-fittings. The house is arranged on two floors: on the first floor, there is a large comfortable and elegant lounge, the kitchen, a bathroom, a double bedroom and a study, which can also sleep two people. On the floor above, the second double bedroom boasts splendid views of the Frari Church and San Rocco; there is a second bathroom here. We have air conditioning.

The house situation is greatly favourable to enjoy the very best in Venice: you can have breakfast in one of the best renowned cake shops in the city and the aperitif - the classic "spritz"- in one of the many trendy bars in Campo Santa Margherita. The area is incredibly rich of art and history: the prestigious Gallerie dell'Accademia; the Frari Basilica which boasts works by Titian and Bellini; the Scuola Grande di San Rocco with its Tintoretto splendid ceiling; Ca' Rezzonico, an important 18th century palace hosting nowadays a collection of masterpieces by Tiepolo, Guardi, Canaletto...
The Dorsoduro district offers many interesting strolls to curious visitors, among which the "Squero" of San Trovaso, which is a workshop where gondolas are made.
