The apartment in a two-family house with beautiful view over Lake Como.
It is located on the first floor and is made up of:
living room-kitchen with satellite TV and sofa bed, 2 bedrooms (one double and one with two beds), bathroom, balcony and 40-square meter terrace with table, chairs, and lounge chair, with arbor and view of the lake. It can house 4 people plus another 2 on the sofa bed. There is a small bed available for children with protection.
All bars/cafes have a opening with balcony with a lovely view of the lake.
The apartment has independent access. Laundry area with washing machine available in the basement. Parking nearby, food shops, and cafes very near. The owners are always present since they reside on the ground floor.
Como Lake is 2.5 km. away, the skiing locations are 50 km. away (Medesimo, Val Malenico).

Surroundings

All of Lake Como within reach. Mountains of the tall Lario behind the house.
Como is 50 Km. away, Milan 100 km., Stelvio Park 100 km. In about an hour by car there are Medesimo, the Malenco Valley, the Valtellina (Bormio, Aprica).

How to arrive by public transportation:
You can arrive by train in Colico, then in Domaso by bus, then from Domaso to Vercana the owner can come and get you. But then you must rent a car for moving around; it is better to directly rent a car at the airport!!!!

Activities

Beautiful beaches, both sand and gravel, in the vicinity. It is an excellent place for wind surfing. Horse-riding a few kilometers away. Good paths for alpine excursions and mountain biking. Touristic locations on the lake and boat trips.
In winter, skiing establishments a few kilometers away.

Food, wine and crafts

Products in the zone: Wines and typical products of Valtellina (Wines: Inferno, Grumello, Sassella; Typical dishes: "pizzoccheri", "sciatt", dried salt beef, game), fish specialties from the lake (rice with perch, "lavarelli alla pioda", "missoltini", lake shad).
