Description

Tiny village of only 15 inhabitants on the hills overlooking the Trasimeno Lake and close to the most famous cities of art of both Tuscany and Umbria. It is in the centre of Italy and is the ideal base from which to visit both Tuscany and Umbria.
The village has remained intact throughout time and along its ancient but renovated streets it maintains all the spirit of spontaneity and community. The square offers the possibility of entertainment, amusement, music and space for families and children.
Six small apartments have been obtained in the main house; each with a kitchen area and a private bathroom with a shower. Some also have a fireplace. They have all been renovated in full respect of their original ancient architecture.
- LILLA (lilac) apartment, on the first floor. One-room apartment with a double bed, kitchen area and dining area. Bathroom with a shower. Approximately 20 square meters.
- TURCHESE (turquoise) apartment, on the ground floor. One-room apartment with a double bed, kitchen area, dining area, bathroom with a shower and private garden overlooking the swimming pool. Approximately 20 square meters.
- ROSA (pink) apartment, on the second floor. It has a room with a double bed and a communicating living room with a convertible sofa. Kitchen corner, bath with a shower, a small balcony, wood rafters and the floor in terracotta tiles. Approximately 27 square meters.
- GIALLO (yellow) apartment, in the attic. A one-room apartment with convertible sofas; third bed on the mezzanine. Kitchen corner, bathroom with a shower, wood rafters and floor in terracotta tiles. Approximately 28 square meters.
- VERDE (green) apartment, in the attic. A two communicating room apartment. Living room with convertible sofas, kitchen corner, fireplace, bedroom floor in terracotta tiles. Bathroom (no bidet). Approximately 48 square meters.
- BLU (blue) apartment, on the second floor. A two communicating room apartment. Living room with convertible sofas, balcony, kitchen corner, bathroom with shower, bedroom with a double bed and a convertible armchair. Floor in terracotta tiles. Approximately 48 square meters.
- MARGHERITA (daisy) apartment, on the second floor. A two communicating room apartment. Living room with convertible sofas, kitchen corner, bedroom with a double bed, floor in terracotta tiles. Approximately 48 square meters.
- AMARANTO (amaranth) apartment, on the first floor. A two-room apartment; the bedroom has a double bed, the bathroom has a shower. Kitchenette, a second bathroom with a shower and two small balconies. Approximately 60 square meters.

The village is surrounded by 200 hectares of woods, olive groves and the naturalistic oasis. Close to the cities of art of Umbria and Tuscany.
The guests will have at their disposal: swimming pool, garden and restaurant (this last open only in the evening).
The most important characteristic of a holiday here is the opportunity to truly become part of a small community throughout the period of your stay.

Surroundings

The village is located in one of the most beautiful, from a naturalistic point of view, areas of Central Italy. Nature is here still intact and in harmony with the countryside and the towns which surround the Trasimeno Lake.
In the surroundings one may visit Cortona (20 Km away), Montepulciano (30 Km away), Arezzo (50 Km away) and Pienza (39 Km away) as well as Montalcino, the Tuscan side of the Val d'Orcia and Urbino. One may likewise visit, in Umbria, Perugia (20 Km away), Assisi, Gubbio, Spoleto, Norcia, Todi and Orvieto. Moreover in a couple of hours by car one may go to Florence or Rome.
