Description
The Country house was originally an ancient mill of the XIX century, located in the Tiber river natural park, nowadays accurately restructured.
The house is a one block building consisting of three floors maintaining original walls and wooden beams. The main entrance is at first floor, here are a bedroom, bathroom, living room with fireplace and an ample and bright kitchen. At second floor two double rooms and a bathroom. At ground floor there are 6 extra beds, a wide tavern and the access to the porch, a nice corner equipped with a fireplace, ideal for BBQ.
The large garden is a pleasant space with a lawn and several fruit trees.

The house is located on the river park of the Tiber, just 10 minutes away from Todi, once an ancient Roman town, then medieval and renaissance village, now an interesting spot not only for its history but also for the high life quality that offers to inhabitants and visitors.In less then one hour by car it is possible to reach many of the most attractive Umbrian cities like Orvieto, Assisi, Perugia, Spello, Spoleto, Foligno, Gubbio, Deruta, Montefalco. For anyone who wants admire the natural beauties of the territory, the Trasimeno Lake just a few kilometres away.

ActivitiesIn Todi’s downtown, reachable in 10 minutes, you will find a cinema, a theatre, a public swimming pool and several restaurants. The second Sunday of the month there is a market on antique trade. We point out two important festivals :Todi’s festival, www.todiartefestival.it, and the Umbria jazz, www.umbriajazz.com, www.bellaumbria.net. Longs and pleasant walks dipped in the Umbrian nature are recommended to appreciate the beauty of the river park of the Tiber, in the neighbourhoods of the estate. |
