We stayed in Umbria at Farm 099 and it was very good. The apartment was clean and tidy with everything needed to cook in the kitchen being right. The bedroom was good and the bedding also good. The bathroom was good but the shower a little too strong and it needs a 'splash cover' to keep shower water in the bath.

The grounds were very neat and the swimming pool was the best - clean, nice water, nice seating and loungers.

The people were very nice although I think the staff, particularly the booking housekeeper, should be given a course in English language so that communication is better. My Italian is poor and I did try but there was no attempt at any English by any staff. If it is a site that welcomes international guests, the farms should have International multi-language speakers of more than just Italian.

The farm was good for both a family with any age children because they have swimming and places to run and play....and for couples also it was good as there was places to just hang-out and relax.

The position of the Farm was great and every place to visit in Umbria was accessible i.e. Perugia, Assissi, Rome, Siena were very easy to reach.

The vacation was very good and I thank Rural-Journey for being very easy to use and very helpful too. My suggestion for Rural-Journey and the Housekeepers at the Farms would be to make sure that the Farms have connections with local Supermarkets and Restaurants so that they can recommend places to shop and eat and maybe the people using their farm at the shop/restaurants would get discount.and...don't forget the language problem and the need for multi language speakers to assist all people(s) using the farms with Rural-Journey.
