Dera Rural Journey,

Thank you for another great experience of true rustic Italian living and once again, a very good trip was had !.

The Farm we stayed at was No. 233 and it was a very pleasant stay. The manager Mr Luigi was a very warm, friendly and helpful man.His English was pretty good and he explained where all towns were. He gave maps to the towns i.e. Mantova, Verona, a town on lake Garda. The breakfast was very continental (cereal, yoghurt, breads, Jam, coffee) and was very filling.

The room we had was a double room however we were disappointed that it was not a double bed but was two single beds put together which meant there was a gap/ridge in the middle of the bed which was uncomfortable. Also, the glass/cups near the sinks for cleaning while brushing teeth were dirty. The shower unit in the bathroom was a little broken but the water pressure and heat of the water was good so body washing was not a problem.

We understand it is out of season and these things are small points. Overall it was a good stay and would return.
