Description
At 5min from Piazzale Roma and St. Lucia railway central station, 10min from Rialto and Piazza San Marco, the house on two floors, is warm, welcoming and accurate in details. A large elegant living room with Murano lamps leads to a traditional kitchen with XIX century furniture. There are two double rooms, a single one (where an additional bed can be supplied) and two bathrooms. All the rooms have air conditioning. From the windows a splendid sight of the Basilica dei Frari and the Scuola Grande di San Rocco.

Surroundings
The house situation is greatly favourable to enjoy the very best in Venice: you can have breakfast in one of the best renowned cake shops in the city and the aperitif - the classic "spritz"- in one of the many trendy bars in Campo Santa Margherita. The area is incredibly rich of art and history: the prestigious Gallerie dell'Accademia; the Frari Basilica which boasts works by Titian and Bellini; the Scuola Grande di San Rocco with its Tintoretto splendid ceiling; Ca' Rezzonico, an important 18th century palace hosting nowadays a collection of masterpieces by Tiepolo, Guardi, Canaletto...
The Dorsoduro district offers many interesting strolls to curious visitors, among which the "Squero" of San Trovaso, which is a workshop where gondolas are made.
