Description

The farm is immersed in olive trees and vineyards over the green hills of Teatin area, at only 7km from the sea and at the same time at 15km from Passolanciano, a station for winter sports and Maiella National Park.
The house has 8 double rooms, with private bathroom and panoramic view, one has also a fire place. A fitted kitchen with fire place is at guests diposition.
From the terrace the panorama is remarkable.
Also at disposition a shuttle, mountain bikes, hammocks, beach equipments and accommodation for pets, which are welcome.
The House also disposes of a restaurant with a hall reserved to the guests of the House.

Surroundings

The main cities of art in the surroundings are Chieti, Guardiagrele, Bucchianico, Pretoro, towns and villages with Roman amphitheatres, museums, Aragona family's castles and more...
Within 18km we have the Maiella's National Park, the WWF natural reserve of Penne (district of Pescara), the splendid inlet in Adriatic sea called Ripari di Giobbe, the Abruzzo's National Park.
At 2km there is Foro river and three lakes for sport fishing.
In every season in Miglianico and in the neighbouring villages fairs and cultural and sport events take place, as for instance the "Miglianico Tour" international Marathon widely known among the fans of this sport, or "The Lands of pleasure", a town festival where it is possible to taste the best gastronomic specialities of Abruzzo.

Activities

In the farm: horse riding school, play area for children, mountain bikes, beach equipment. Moreover we have an agreement with the neighbouring Miglianico Golf Club, which makes very good prices to our guests, and also disposes of a wide swimming pool among olive trees.
The activities you may practice in the immediate surroundings are ski, hunting, fishing, hiking and trekking. Numberless tracks and paths across Maiella mountains will let you discover the natural beauties of this splendid area, as far as to reach the natural reserve of Murelle' Amphitheatre.
Beside, the sea is only at 7km, and this consents to practice swimming, sailing, windsurfing and canoeing.

Food, wine and crafts

At the house you may buy our products: lamb, veal, extra-virgin olive oil, wine, honey and cheese.
Meals are served in a panoramic hall reserved to guests, and are based on typical local home made products as: sagnas (a roughly cut hand made pasta) with beans, sagnas and chick-peas, roasted lamb, sheep cheeses, home made wood stove cooked bread and pizza, pies, raisin jam, cakes, meats and cold cuts. All these rigorously seasoned with our extra-virgin olive oil and washed down with a very good Montepulciano d’Abruzzo wine produced in our farm.
In November we offer tasting of freshly milled oil and new wine.
