Description
The 57 hectares farm, 400m.a.s.l., is situated on the slopes of Mt. Sellaro inside the National Park of Pollino. Plunged in the green of the typical Mediterranean wood full of colours and of centuries old olive trees. Thanks to its position it enjoys a suggestive panorama ranging from Sibari plan to Sila's mounts.The complex, recently reorganised, is the typical old Calabrian farm with the farm house, stable and fold. From these buildings, maintaining their original characters and materials (stone and wood), 6 lodges have been obtained and a restaurant hall, where it is possible to taste Calabrian traditional flavours.
The house has 15 to 20 beds in 7 rooms with private bathroom, one of which isi equipped for disabled.

The area, with its ancient history and traditions offer numberless possibilities of fun to guests, ranging from mountain to seaside: the adventurous canyoning in Raganello's river, the long promenades across the Pollino National Park (at 20km), visiting Sibari's (20km) and Francavilla Marittima's (5km) archaeological sites, relaxing in Cerchiara of Calabria's spa (7km), horse riding trips, visiting Madonna delle Armi's Sanctuary dug in the rock in Cerchiara di Calabria...

Food, wine and craftsOur farm follows the rules of organic agriculture methods to produce the typical Calabrian delicious specialities: olives and oil, figs, vegetables, wine, pork cold cuts, cheeses, fruits and several types of preserves. The southern climate and the quality of our land give to all these products a very special flavour, not easy to forget when you have tasted them. |
