Description

The country house has been obtained restructuring and entirely reorganizing an ancient 12th Century Monastery. The resulting country house, is refined and capable of offering a truly refined hospitality in 13 apartments with different characteristics, each of which endowed with all possible comforts. All are furnished with antique furniture, have spacious bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchenette, a washing machine and a dishwasher, some have a private garden and a fireplace.

- Noemi apartment - a one room apartment of 45 square meters at the last floor of the main structure. It has a kitchen corner, a double bed in wrought iron, a closet, night tables and a large bath with a shower.
- Giulietta apartment - a 45 square meter apartment, calm and secluded. It has a living area with a kitchen corner, a fireplace, a double bedroom, a storage and a bathroom with a shower. Two French doors open directly onto the garden and the arcade.
- Teresa apartment - 58 square meters. It has an independent entrance, a living room with a kitchen corner and a chimney, two spacious double rooms, a bathroom with a shower and a garden.
- Isotta apartment - 71 square meters. It has an independent entrance, a living room with a kitchen corner and a chimney, a storage, a bathroom with a shower, a garden, a double room on the ground floor and a mezzanine with a second double bed.
- Carlotta apartment - 55 square meters. It has an independent entrance, a living room with a kitchen corner and a chimney, two spacious double bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower and a garden.
- Poldo apartment - 55 square meters. It has an independent entrance and is slightly secluded and higher. It has a living room with a kitchen corner, a corner chimney, a double bedroom, a bathroom with a shower and a garden.
- Dorina apartment - 87 meters square. It has a living room with a kitchen corner, a chimney, a storage, a bathroom with a shower, a garden, a double bedroom on the ground floor and a mezzanine with a second double bed.
- Paola apartment - 90 square meters. It has a living room with a kitchen corner, a chimney, a bedroom on the ground floor and a mezzanine with a second double bed, a twin room, a storage, a bathroom with a shower, a second bathroom with a whirlpool bath, and a garden.
- Nonna Amelia apartment - 85 square meters. It has a living room with a kitchen corner, two double rooms, a bathroom with a shower.
- Mafalda apartment - 81 square meters. It is on the first floor and has a living room with a kitchen corner, a double bedroom, a triple room, and a bathroom with a shower.
- Ninetta apartement - 75 square meters. It has a living room with a kitchen corner, a double bedroom, a triple bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower.
- Margherita apartment - 78 square meters. It has a living room with a kitchen corner, two double rooms and a bathroom.
- Corradina apartment - 80 square meters. It has a living room with a kitchen corner, a bathroom with a shower, a garden, two double bedrooms on the ground floor and a mezzanine with two single beds.

The guests may fully appreciate the beauty of the uncontaminated countryside from the park, the swimming pool and the vast spaces they will have at their disposal.
12th century architecture strongly characterizes the restaurant and its medieval vaulted ceilings. It is at the disposal of both the guests and the wider public and it offers typical dishes of both Tuscany and the Maremma.
The truly suggestive, breathtaking and unforgettable surroundings create an atmosphere which promotes relaxation and love.

Surroundings

The Monastery is situated in a strategic position amidst towns and villages of Etruscan and Medieval origin.
The sea, and the beaches of Follonica, Punta Ala and Castiglione della Pescaia, is only a few minutes away. Porto Ercole, Porto S. Stefano, Orbetello, and Talamone are only a 40 minute car ride away thus also enabling the tour of the delightful islands of Giglio and Elba. Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano, and Monteriggioni are less than a one hour drive away; Rome and Florence are instead only 1 ½ hours away.
Massa Marittima is the closest town. Its has a truly beautiful Medieval historical centre where you may also find supermarkets, a pharmacy, a bank ecc.

How to arrive by public transportation:
The nearest train station is Follonica, but another mean of private transportation is necessary to reach the accomodation from the train station.
