Description

We are in Southern Italy, in Campania, only a few kilometers away from Salerno. Our guests are housed in two rural houses of the beginning of the 20th century, just in front of the main late 18th century structure, the small chapel and the winery. Luxuriant nature, with its oaks, citrus, olive, chestnut and hazel trees, completely surrounds the houses providing the perfect framework.
The atmospheres in the houses is simple, elegant, joyful, and relaxing. Guests are greeted with cordiality and hospitality and they will appreciate the particular care which is placed in all details. The kitchen and meals are, for example, personally overlooked and taken care of by the owner, the traditional recipes are prepared with the farm's or the region's products and they are, at times, interpreted with a personal touch of originality.
All rooms have private bathrooms with showers, independent heating, telephone, small fridge and water boiler to prepare hot drinks.
On the ground floor:
- "fichi d'India" and "more" rooms: they are both double rooms, have a chimney, vaulted ceilings and exits onto the arcade which is at the garden's level.
- "aranci" and "limoni" rooms: they are both single rooms with oversized single beds and exits onto the garden.
On the first floor:
- "mandarini" suite: it overlooks the common terrace and it comprises in a living room with a convertible sofa which becomes a single bed and an upper level, connected through a wooden stair. On the upper floor, there is a double room in a picturesque attic room embellished by old wooden rafters, a small balcony and an oval shaped window. Green and nature surrounds the whole structure.
- "castagni" room: single room with an oversized bed and a small private terrace. It may be rendered communicating with the "mandarini" suite.
- "noccioli" and "uva" suites: they have a large entrance/living room and are each formed of a room, a private panoramic terrace, a chimney and a single convertible sofa. There is a wooden stair that brings to an intermediate floor where there are two more single beds and a double one. The suites may also be independent and have a dining room and kitchenette.

Guests may fully participate in the reality of the agricultural farm and may participate in the seasonal harvesting and in the gathering and processing of wild vegetables and herbs. Periodic encounters and local cooking courses are organized as well as water painting, cartonnage, painting on cloth and weaving.

For a minimum stay of 5 nights, including heating, use of the garden, and outdoor wood-burning oven, 350 Euros per day + 80 Euros for the final cleaning.

Close to the farm you will find, easy to reach, sites well-known for their beauty and cultural interest: Naples and its beautiful Museums, the archaeological sites of Pompei and Herculaneum, Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast with Amalfi, Ravello, Positano and small fishermen’s villages. You can ship to Capri and Ischia or visit Cilento coast with its archaelogical sites of Paestum and Velia, the National Park, the famous splendid Charterhouse in Padula, Agropoli and Palinuro and many other extraordinary places which are there for you to discover.

The house is in San Cipriano Picentino, frequently connected with SITA company bus from Salerno and from Giffoni.
