Description
The country house is on the outskirts of the Gran Sasso National reserve, on a hill, approximately 500 meters a.s.l.. It overlooks the lovely valley below, is surrounded by luxuriant nature and is characterized by peace and quiet. It was built in the sixties and has recently been renovated. Overall it may guest up to 18 people in its 5 rooms (all of which have a private bathroom, a shower and a television. The dining room may, instead, seat 50 people. Guests may choose between B&B, half board or full board services. Guests will be greeted by the friendly environments and warm receptions characteristic of these lands.

How to reach us through public transportation:
By bus from Penne.
There are busses connecting Penne and Pescara every hour. Nonetheless we advise having private means of transport so as to facilitate all movements once in the area.
ActivitiesAt the country house one may assist the preparation of homemade pasta and bread. One may also participate in different of the outdoor activities (depending on the season): gardening (in the vegetable garden or the orchard) or olive picking. Guests may also visit our livestock breeding area where we have: sheep, horses, lambs, ponies, donkeys, rabbits, goats, turtle doves, pheasants, peacocks and geese. In the area: hunting and fishing.

Food, wine and craftsGuests may here enjoy tasting some of the region's traditional products such as: chitarra al ragù (fresh pasta with ragù sauce), gnocchi with goose sauce , sheep arrosticini (grilled kebabs), grilled lamb, fettuccine with boscaiola sauce, roasted chicken, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and Trebbiano wines and liquors (among which the genziana d'Abruzzo). The pecorino from Farindola is another one of the regions renowned products. |
