Description

The agritourism is immersed in 70 hectares of olive oil trees and it's far only 3 km from the sea. The farm has an ancient history dated from '300 and its a typical Salerno "masseria".
For a long time it'has been propery of monks, then of a rich french family producers of high quality wine. Now it's propery of Azzolini family.
Family Azzolini built the structures to lodge the farmers's families and the various activities of breeding and wine and olive oil production.
The building is edified around the big mansion and it is composed by 9 apartments with 4 bed places. The structure has been entirely restored according to local traditional style. Apartments are furnished of all comfort: air conditionin, kitchenette, private gardens,
We have at disposal other 3 rooms with bathroom for bed and breakfast option.
There are 3 different lodge typology:
- big apartment (4 bed) composed by living room with sofabed, a wedding room, kitchenette, bathroom, garden,. Tv, refrigerator, air conditioning, heating.
- small apartments: (2/4 bed) composed by a wedding room, kitchenette, sofa bed, bathromm, independent garden. TV, air conditioning, heating, refrigerator.
- rooms with bed &breakfast formula have private bathroom, tv, air conditioning.
Farm has a big swimming pool (180 mq) and a restaurant where taste local cuisine with farmhouse's products (wine, oil, cotognata).
Farmhosue works also todaly like a tradizional salentina masseria and give to the guests the opportunity to keep in touch with dayly farmer activities.

Surroundings

The opportune farmhouse's location (just 3 km from sea and 15 from Lecce) allows very interesting excursion.
In Lecce, baroque town, you can visit the churches or have a promenade in old town.
Far 40 km there is Otranto, wonderful sea town rich in history.
Only far 5 km the Cerrate Abbey.
For sea lovers Salento offers a unique opportunity to know the 2 sea: Adriatico and Ionio.

By train you arrive in Squinzano railway station where you find (on demand) our person.

Activities

Masseria has 76 hectares where you can walk or go by bycicle and enjoy for the view and contact with centennial olive oil trees and citrus trees.
Just 3km far you can practice kite surf also in winter.
All Salento's land, during summer, has ad incredible availability of sagre and popular feasts with tasting of various gastronomic specialties, local handmade products and traditional shows like famous "Pizzica".
