Description

The farm expands for approximately 10 hectares at the foot of the hills of Pisa. A holiday here will consent to try the real farm life in all its working phases.
The accommodation has of two apartments and one room. All of the lodgings are newly built and decorated with Tuscan furniture. They take their name from the grape varieties of the farm.
- San Giovese apartment, 4 beds: independent entry, living area with equipped kitchenette, bedroom with double bed and bunk bed, bathroom with shower.
- Malvasia apartment, 5 beds: independent entry, living room with double sofa bed and equipped kitchenette, triple bedroom, bathroom with shower.
- Cannaiolo: double room with private bathroom and possibility of additional bed.
Guests may the laundry service.
Outdoor guests will find a large garden with barbecue, a swimming pool, parking for their cars.
At their choice, guests may take part in farm life, in cooking courses, and in family lunches with the owners and other guests (by reservation).

Surroundings

The farm is located in the commune of Fauglia, in a tranquil, hilly zone, from which you can enjoy a wide panorama. It is near to the major streets, the airport of Pisa, and the port of Livorno, to the cities of art and to the sea.
From the port of Livorno it is possible to take daily excursions to the islands of the Tuscan archipelago or leave for Sardinia or Corsica.
Several distances: Pisa Airport 15 minutes by car, Livorno Port 15 min. by car, Sea with beach (Tyrrhenian) 20 min., beach with rocks (Castiglioncello) 25 minutes. You can easily reach Lucca, Florence, Siena, Volterra , San Gimignano, Pisa.

How to arrive by public transportation:
ATP bus from Pisa (in Piazza San Antonio) with the destination "Ponsacco". Get off at the stop "la Tavola". From there the Tenuta is 1.9 km away.

Activities

On-site it is possible to participate in sports fishing, jobs of the country, take cooking courses, go trekking, bike riding, play bocce, archery, ping pong.
In the vicinity there is a horse-riding grounds (only 200 meters away) and wellness center at Casiana Terme.

Food, wine and crafts

The farm mainly produces wine and olive oil. The wine-making is still done according to local tradition, with the fermentation of the marc and after eight days the famous "governo" for finishing the fermentation.
At the farm our products are sold: Wine, extra-virgin olive oil, white and aged Grappa, Honey, Vegetables, and Fruit.
