Description

The agritourism is in the vast and charming countryside of the Volterrane Hills, golden in summers, lush in spring, brown-toned in autumn and winter.
It is a working farm whose force is the organic cultivation together with slow food.
It offers its guests two two-roomed apartments with independent entrances and 2 twin rooms with private bath. All have autonomous heating, private garden, barbecue, TV, and are named for the historic places of the farm life which unfolded in the rural house:
- Apartment CANTINA (Living area with kitchen + Bedroom + bathroom)
- Apartment GRANAIO (Living room with kitchen + Bedroom + bathroom)
- MANGIATOIA Room (Bedroom + bathroom)
- TRINCIATOIO Room (Bedroom + bathroom)
It is also possible, for nuclear families or groups of friends, to have a larger apartment made from a small apartment (Cantina or Granaio) and a room (Mangiatoia or Trinciatolo), that way you can have a unit made up of: living room with kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms.
The agritourism's swimming pool, with marine salt water, will brighten up your stay.

Surroundings

Volterra is an Etruscan, medieval, and even a modern city, with its 30 centuries of history in the heart of grand Tuscany. Those who love culture will be able to deepen their knowledge of the mysterious Etruscan civilization by visiting the acropolises, the famous Etruscan museum with its rich collection, among which the well-known and attractive "Evening Shadow".
The importance of Etruscan Volterra is witnessed in the greatness of the city wall. We then have the Roman theater (1st century A.D.), while the present-day Volterra is witness to its Medieval importance: not to be forgotten are Piazza dei Priori, which with its palazzo is one of the most fascinating in Italy.
From Volterra you can easily reach the most important cities of art in Tuscany: San Gimignano is 15 km away, Siena 40 km, Pisa 60 km, and Florence 70 km.

The large swimming pool next to the agritourism offers you relief!

Food, wine and crafts

Production and direct sale of typical products made on our farm: San Giovese wine bearing the "igt" title, salami, ragù, Pomarancino Lamb patè, honey, jams, extra virgin olive oil.
