Description

The agritourism was made from the recovery of an old group of farm houses from the beginning of the 1800's.
The works were carried out trying to respect the old construction techniques. The pavements are, in large part, realized with old brick, recovered and laid without the use of glues. The internal doors are in natural wood tinted with water-based enamels.
Hospitality is offered in 4 rooms equipped with private bathrooms, ADSL Internet connection, satellite and terrestrial digital TV.
Dining takes place in an open room, by reservation only, from Thursday evening to Saturday evening and on Sunday both for lunch and dinner.
The agritourism seeks to give the utmost value to agricultural products from the territory by means of the promotion of new local realizations of dietary transformations.

Surroundings

The agritourism is located in Poirino, in the Pianalto, heart of the Piemonte region. We are at the center of a vast high plain of clayey land scattered with small natural lakes (the "peschiere").
The barycentric position in respect to the city of Turin, Asti, and Alba allows you an in-depth view of the Piemontese region, beginning with the Baroque works located in Turin, then passing to the Savoy residences, and then arriving at the magnificent Roero Hills, and you cannot forget visiting the Asti lands, still little explored but very rich in charm.

Activities

The activities in which you can participate are:
-Tench fishing in the adjacent lake;
- bike rides on the bicycles that we provide;
- organize barbecues with friends (we can provide the area and all equipment necessary);
- participate in cooking courses and other course in the planning phase;
Children have a play area both inside and outside with staff who will look after them.
Nearby: golf courses, music festivals and festivals dedicated to the health of the body and mind.

Food, wine and crafts

In the mirrors of water teeming with fish in the zone lives a rare variety of Golden Humped Tench, appreciated for its delicate meat, firm, not fatty and with a clean flavor. The golden Tench was adopted b Slow Food as one of the "Presidia" of the Province of Turin. At the agritourism you will be able to taste exquisite fried foods, superb carp, and flavorful risottos made with the Golden Humped Tench.
