Description
The Farm is a 140acres estate growing barley, wheat, maize and olive trees.The ancient farm houses have been accurately reorganised in folksy style, with the aim of letting guests know and appreciate this country culture of ours which so strongly marked the history of our Country.
Today the “Red House” contains 9 pleasant and snug apartments for 2 or 4 persons, totally independent, with living room, a thoroughly equipped kitchenette and bathroom, each one endowed with an open air space, a verandah, a balcony or a garden.
In the park a beautiful swimming pool and a play area for children.

Surroundings
We are at Mount Giove's foot, in the Medieval village of Eggi, with its XIV century castle whose perimetrical walls and two of the ancient gates are perfectly preserved.The farm is only 3km far from the interesting city of art of Spoleto, very famous for the many musical and artistic dates, among which “The Festival of Two Worlds”, the “Lyric experimental theatre”, and for eno-gastronomic events as “Wines in the World” and the “Market-show of truffles”.
The farm is also an ideal base, in the middle of Umbria as it is, for cultural and religious itineraries: at short distance you'll find Todi, Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio and Cascia. As for nature, nearby there are the Mounts Sibillini's Park, Mount Subasio and Mount Peglia, the picturesque Valnerina, with its huge falls and Piediluco's lake.
A nice day trip is also to Norcia, Saint Benedictus' homeland and a nice historic centre, where it is also possible to buy the best typical foods.

ActivitiesTrekking or mountain biking is possible along the paths in the woods around of the farm house.In the immediate surroundings it's possible to practice rafting and hang gliding and make guided horse riding excursions. At only 1km you have archery and five-a-side field. |
Food, wine and craftsIn the Farm you may buy typical local products of certified farms, both organic and not: extra-virgin olive oil, wine, lentis, spelt and season vegetables and fruits. |
