Description

The isolated position of the house, which at the sam time is near the town, creates particular fascination, which adds to the warmth and the welcoming of its guests.
It is a single house on two floors, it façade is enveloped by a large wisteria tree. The first floor is entirely dedicated to the Bed & Breakfast and is made up of two bedrooms. The room Monte Rosa is a double room with private bathroom located in the hallway. It even has a large terrace and view of Mount Rosa. The Graziosa room uses the bathroom on the lower floor, shared with the owners. On the same floor there is a second terrace-solarium.
On the ground floor is the breakfast room with fireplace, the kitchen, and the second bathroom with shower to be shared with the owners.
The house is entirely done in untreated wood as an "organic" choice on behalf of the owners. The wood entirely covers the walls, the floors and the ceilings are wood-beamed.

Surroundings

The house is located in the Anzasca Valley, a little more than 10 km from Macugnaga, the zone of Mount Rosa, a place adapted for those passionate about skiing in winter and excursions or simple lovers of nature in summer.
It is 22 km from Domodossola and about 40 km from Lake Maggiore. Closer are the other valleys, Ossola, Vigezzo, Formazza, Antigorio, Divedro, etc. From Milan it is reachable in less than an hour and a half.

Activities

In the vicinity the main activities are summer excursions and rock climbing. In winter skiing, downhill or cross-country, Alpine skiing, as well as ice climbing. There is the possibility of horse-riding in the outskirts and there is a paragliding club nearby. Other popular activities are hikes in the mountains and bicycling. A frequently traveled path for climbers and mountain bikers passes right in front of the house.

Food, wine and crafts

Typical products of the zone are Alpine cheeses, honey, black rye bread (both sweet and salty).
