Description
The property is made up of two rural buildings: the first includes the restaurant and the owner's home; the second where the guest rooms of the agritourism are situated. On the first floor you will find a double room that sleeps two and a mini-apartment made up of a living area with kitchenette, bathroom, and a bedroom with a total of 4 places to sleep. On the floor above you will find two rooms that each sleep three. Each room has a private bathroom with shower and independent entry.
The building, in a panoramic position exposed to the south, is surrounded by a yard with forest trees and olive groves. The outdoor area is bordered by a wall made from local stone. The upper floor is reachable by an outdoor staircase with large, covered balcony for use by guests, while those staying on the ground floor may use an arbor opposite the entry doors.
The restaurant is located in the old stables of the rural building, in a unique, spacious place with dining area, lounge, and fireplace, decorated in an authentic rural style. Outside there is a covered veranda and a shaded area for enjoying meals during the hot season.

Surroundings
The agritourism is situated in the heart of the Sabina region, 60 km from Rome and 30 km from Rieti, in an environment rich in woods and olive groves, on the shores of the Farfa River, 4 km from the town of Casaprota.In the range of a few tens of kilometers, it is possible to visit Monti Lucretili Park, the Sabini Mountains, Mount Terminillo; Lakes Salto, Turano, and Piediluco, the Marmore waterfall. Beyond Rome and Rieti, we recommend Farfa Abbey, the Franciscan monasteries of Rieti, Santa Vittoria Church in Monteleone Sabino, the centers of Fara Sabina, Toffia, and Labro.

ActivitiesWithin the property and in the immediate surroundings there are multiple opportunities for nature walks and mountain biking. In the calm evenings, we offer the possibility for guided astronomical observations, both with the blind eye and with instruments made available by the Agritourism.At an external facility just a brief distance away, there is the possibility for organizing horse riding. In the town of Casaprota there is an equipped sports center, with swimming pools, tennis courts, five-a-side soccer, and bocce. |
Food, wine and craftsThe most important product of the zone is extravirgin olive oil, one of the best in Italy. Even our agritourism produces this oil, as well as vegetables that you can taste in the dishes of our exclusively vegetarian restaurant, while the local wine is produced at a farm very close to ours. From us you can buy organic homemade jams and preserved vegetables, in addition to articles made from fabric and leather for ladies (handbags and accessories). |
