Description
Situated on the ridge of the Lattari Mountains which divide the Sorrentina Peninsula from Amalfi Coast, "Villa Cafiero" has a double view of the Gulf of Naples and the Gulf of Salerno. It was built in 1910 by the engineer Amalfi, and it preserves the spirit of that period with its Liberty style and typical tower which characterize it. On the wonderful facade, a glass window with polychromatic glass and classical columns give way to an environment where all has been preserved, in particular the library and the representative rooms.
The guests are lodged in 3 rooms with 2 single beds or one double beds, one room with a french bed and one room with kitchenette; all have private bathrooms with either showers or bathtubs, TV, and hairdryers.
The garden is full of hydrangeas, lilacs, roses, petunias, lantana, daisies, wistarias, hawthorns, oleanders and many other varieties of plants.
There are long roads decorated with rare palms and a beautiful octagonal majolica table. From the terraces, the gazebo, and the lookout point, enhanced by smells and colors unchanged by time, it's possible to admire views of the sea and mountains from inside the characteristic pink tower of the villa.
