Description

The Agritourism overlooks the peaks of the Lucanian Dolomite Mountains. This accommodation was born from the restoration of a 14th century Benedictine hermitage in which there are the remains of San Leone Abbey. In this silence, among these colors, there is a piece of history that our family has chosen to live and work on for generations with the conviction that we are in one of the most beautiful angles of the Basilicata region. Completely immersed in green, the building is made up of rooms, mini-suites, and apartments:
- Orange and Indigo: double room with private bathroom.                                   
- Green: two bedrooms (one with double bed and the other with two single beds) and a bathroom.                                                                                 
- Ginestre House and Rose House: entry/sitting area, a room with double bed or two single beds, private bathroom.                                                                                               
- Yellow Apartment: master bedroom, bedroom with two beds, big bathroom, kitchen, living area.
- Meditation Apartment: 18th century living area cap-vaulted ceiling, kitchen with dining area, double room with bath and walk-in closet, bedroom with two beds, and another bathroom. The apartment has a stunning view of the remains of San Leone Abbey, of the slopes of the Lucanian Dolomites, and of Camastra Lake. All can enjoy the outdoor spaces. There is a private, covered porch with tables and chairs, a swimming pool is available for guests with a view of the Gallipoli-Cognato Forest, which softly descends Camastra Valley.

The establishment is located in the heart of the Basilicata region at:
- 15 km. from the Lucanian Dolomites, where we recommend visiting Castelmezzano and Pietrapertosa, which are connected by a cable on which one can practice the extreme sport, "Volo d'Angelo" (Flight of the Angel).
- 24 km. from the Gallipoli-Cognato National Park, an ideal location for trekking.
- 80 km. from Matera, with its characteristic "Sassi" (ancient rock-hewn homes) and where the film, "The Passion of the Christ" was shot.  Declared a "cultural landscape" by UNESCO.
- 45 km. from the castles of Federico II: Lagopesole and Melfi, with annex to the Archaeological Museum.
- 40 km. from the archaeological site, Grumento Nova, which one can visit.
