Description
The residence is made of one farm house of the end of XIX century, skilfully refurbished, sited in the marvellous valley of Villamagna, immersed in Umbria Appennines' quiet and green. The place is surely ideal to leave back the city smog and confusion and to enjoy pleasant moments customised for men and children, necessary to reload one's body and mind.
The two and three rooms apartments, all with kitchenette and TV, are finely furnished. Thanks to stone, wood and fire our guests will taste the warm atmosphere of a charming past.
Wide common halls are ready for groups.
Outside there are play areas for children, these last, promenading with their parents, will possibly have the chance to meet some wild animals as foxes, and surely our horses, cows, pheasants.
Here is possible to choose among an healthy trekking across the hills, or visiting the most beautiful cities of art of Umbria and Marche, or maybe enjoying one's friends and family company around an appetizing barbecue in a warm summer night.

Surroundings
The House is 8km from Gubbio, one of the more suggestive medieval towns of Umbria, and fully immersed in the unpolluted nature of the faunal oasis of Villamagna.At 6km it's possible to visit Bottaccione Gorge, of natural and archaeological interest, whilst at 15 km one should not lose the Natural Park of Mount Cucco, with beautiful tracks for trekking and natural caves only recently opened to public.
In one hour car ride it is possible to visit famous cities of art as Assisi, Perugia, Spello, Todi, Deruta e Urbino.

ActivitiesThe House offers play area for children, barbecue and furnished garden, In the area it's possible to go in search for mushrooms and truffles (only in the allowed periods and booking in advance).In Gubbio (8km) there are tennis courts and five-a-side fields, the Town swimming pool, bicycle and skateboard path, lakes for sport fishing, theatre, cinemas and discoes, beside, obviously, many good restaurants, with some of which we have agreements for our guests. At 15km, in the Natural Park of Mount Cucco, there is an important base for hang gliding and paragliding, which often also hosts international competitions of these sports. |
Food, wine and craftsIn our pasture we have been breeding in the last 15 years a selection of Anglo-Arabian horses mainly for equestrian sports, obtaining important distinctions.In the surroundings is possible to purchase extra-virgin olive oil (with the possibility of a guided visit to an oil mill), wine, meat and cold cuts, mushrooms, truffles and other typical local products. |
