Description

Upon the ruins of an ancient monastery was built this beautiful country house for holiday. It is sited in a 100 hectares estate, at 450m.a.s.l. It enjoys a charming panorama ranging from sea to mountains, among conifer woods and wide olive trees plantations.
The rooms, refined and accurate in every detail are disposed around a huge central staircase. At ground floor you'll find two dining rooms and a living room, whilst bedrooms are upstairs.
The six rooms, all with bathroom and TV, are furnished with period furniture.
The hospitality is the ancient traditional one of Calabria. It makes the guests feel at home and invites them to taste delicious and genuine dishes skilfully prepared according to local uses. 

Surroundings

We are at 15km from sea, in a natural environment marked by woods of elk, false acacia and beech trees. Nearby there are the village of Capistrano and Monterosso Calabro with a Museum of Folk Culture and Craftsmanship of Calabria.
At 10km Angitola's Lake, natural WWF oasis. At 23km Pizzo Calabro, with the castle where Gioacchino Murat was shot and the marvellous rock church of Piedigrotta, entirely dug in tuff. At 34km Serra San Bruno and its historical Carthusian monastery with the museum.
At 35km the beautiful Tropea, the nicest town of the coast, with its patrician palaces and its white thin sand charming beaches.
Last, in Nardo di Pace there are to see pre-historical Megaliths.
