Description

The villa is a huge construction built starting from '400 by Counts Godi on the ruins of a preceding feudal castle of Count-Bishop of Vicenza.
Of the Castle the suggestive caves dug in the rock remain and the mighty walls enclosing the complex and sloping down hill, the lemon trees orchard ant the XVIII century Italian garden.
Our has been the first agritourism to open in Berian Hills. Since 1986 the family of owners hosts travellers from any part of the world, people longing to spend different holidays in an island of silence and green, among testimonies of art and history. After several reorganisations, the House offers 4 lodges (with 2 or 4 bedrooms each) with period furnishing and equipped kitchen (The kitchen is not inside the "Apartment 4", but only those in that apartment can use this kitchen).
The lodges are inside  the historic Villa's gardens, between the Medieval walls.
The house doesn't have restaurant, but we organise feasts and cultural soirées, as the well known “Music and Environment” in September.

Surroundings

The Villa is at the foot of Berian Hills and overlooks the medieval village of Barbarano. The 10hectares farm lays on the south side of a ramification of Berian Hills, with a charming 360° view over Venitian plane. We grow olive trees and grape vines.
The Berian Hills are an area of great naturalistic and architectural interest, for it's an environment still natural and undamaged, for the many naturalistic tracks crossing them, for the splendid Palladian Villas and the rural villages.
Very near and easy to reach are the cities of art of  Vicenza, Verona, Padua and Venice.
