Description
A small medieval village in one of the most suggestive scenery in Tuscany, in a quiet and lonely position, surrounded by a large expanse of green. It is the ideal country complex for lovers of harmony between old and new, of nature, art and sport.
Guests are hosted in romantic rooms and cosy apartments for 2 up to 6 beds. Architectural elements are those of Siena's Chianti tradition: stone in sight, wooden beams, terracotta tiles floors.
A panoramic swimming pool among green hills, with a unique view over Chianti's landscape is at exclusive guests' disposition. The park includes also a small lake with a fountain where it is possible to fish. The lake and its surroundings are populated by animals in the large: Cashmere goats, swans and geese.

Surroundings
The house is in the heart of Tuscany, on Chianti's green hills, at approximately 30km from Siena and 60km from Florence and San Gimignano. You can visit the various towns and castles throughout the zone of Chianti.

How to arrive by public transportation:
A bus for Gaiole in Chianti leaves every two hours from the train station in Siena. The agritourism is located about 3 km from the town.
ActivitiesIn the village you'll find swimming pool, tennis court, and ping pong, in the surroundings promenades, hiking, MB, horse riding excursions. Our hot-air-balloon may fly with up to three persons plus the pilot, whilst a car with a trained team will follow the fly at ground and will assist for landing.In the surroundings golf courses. |
Food, wine and craftsThe accommodation is surrounded by olive groves vineyards. Chianti's wines and extra-virgin olive oil are our products, all available for purchase. Among the other products on sale: Grappa, Vin Santo, Jams, Salami. Every day it is possible to participate in our tours (guided visits of the vineyards and cellar) which conclude with an interesting tasting of our products (wine and oil). The cost of the tour, including tasting of 3 goblets is 10 Euros per person. Our typical restaurant is located in an attractive vaulted cellar: here breakfast and dinner are served in a simple but elegant atmosphere. |
