In an ancient patrician house of exquisite neo-Gothic architecture, the Locanda overlooks the channel skirting the lively “campo” of Santa Maria Formosa, among the most characteristic in Venice. It has a quiet position far from the tourist crowds, but very near to Piazza San Marco and Rialto Bridge, so offering to its guests a lot of services and opportunities.
The 14 rooms recreate with extreme care ancient sophistications and Venetian '700 stile. Decorations and tapestries, of fine craftsmanship and noble materials, make rooms of great elegance with warm and suggestive colours. An atmosphere of delicate romance, ideal also for couples who come to Venice to marry or on honeymoon, to whom the house reserves a special treatment.
All the room have modern equipment, mini bar, air conditioning, direct line phone, safe. All the bathrooms, with bath tube or shower, have hair-dryer.
If you have to use your notebook we provide for an internet wi-fi connection at very good price.
Concierge's room open from 7,30a.m. to 9.00p.m. on request to 11,00p.m. After this hour the entrance to the house will not be guaranteed and we will anyhow charge the price of the room.

- Amendement request -
It is possible to change the booking till 7 days before arrival at 12.00 a.m.; after this term see our cancellation policy. During the periods of New Years Eve (27.12.08 - 06.01.09), Carnival (13.02.09 - 24.02.09), and Easter (10.04.09 - 13.04.09) you can change your booking till 15 days before arrival, after this term it will be charged same penalty as per cancelation policy. Reservation with more than 2 rooms there will be different cancelation policy

- Cancellation policy -
It will be possible to cancel without penalty till 7 days before arrival noon time. After this term:
we will charge minimum 1 night (if you just book a single night) or 2 nights (if you have booked 2 nights or more ) For New Years Eve, Carnival and Easter, after the term of 15 days, it will be charged full stay. After check in all changes of stay will be charged in full.

- No show -
In case of no show will be charged the same penalty as per cancellation policy.

Daily reception from 7,30 a.m. till 9,00 p.m. If you will arrive later than this time be so kind to call or advise by email. If nobody comes before 9,00 p.m. we will charge a minimum of 1 night, for 1 night stay, till maximum 2 nights if your stay is for 2 nights and more.
