Bed & Breakfast in a lovely small villa immersed in greenery.
The house, warm and welcoming, has a large living area with fireplace for winter days and a large garden with a spectacular view over the castle and medieval town of Torre Alfina, for enjoying breakfast in the summer.
The ownership has one single room and two double rooms with private bathroom or with shared bathroom available to its guests. Breakfast is personally prepared and is included in the price.

Torre Alfina is a medieval town officially recognized among the "Most Beautiful Towns of Italy". We are a short distance away from the Monte Rufeno Nature Reserve, protected area, and the border between the lovely regions of Lazio, Tuscany, and Umbria. Two hours by car from Rome and Florence, a few kilometers from Orvieto, from Bolsena Lake and from Mount Amiata. A short distance from the thermal bath locations of S. Casciano Bagni, Bagno Vignoni, Viterbo, Saturnia, in addition to locations of historical and cultural interest including Pitigliano, Sorano, Sovana, Civita di Bagnoregio.

By train: the railway station of Orvieto and then by bus for Acquapendente and Torre Alfina.
ActivitiesIt is possible to renew yourselves in the tranquility of the town, in contact with nature, with clean, fresh air. You can go trekking, go mountain biking along the paths, discover the interesting "Flower Museum", born with the intent to letting you get to know the local flora, respect for the environment and love of nature; you can participate in water sports at nearby Lake Bolsena or go skiing on Mount Amiata.There is a swimming pool 100 meters away from the b&b. |
Food, wine and craftsBreakfasts are prepared with local and genuine products. It is possible to taste homemade cakes, jams, and products from the orchard.The local cuisine is simple and genuine, characterized by typical dishes: the famous "pappardelle" with wild boar, the "umbrichelli all'aglione", cracked wheat soup, lentils, beans.
