Description

A small accommodation facility, very well cared for, where you can spend your nights. You will be received with kindness and care at this young property. The bed and breakfast is made up of 3 rooms with private bathrooms. All are warmly-colored like the gems they are named after. They have large windows, vaulted ceilings, Vietri ceramic pavement. The rooms include hot water, TV, hairdryer, minibar, and heat.
A comfortable lounge is available for all clients for relaxing and for using the telephone/fax and computer with Internet access. An abundant breakfast is also served in the lounge, but one can also go there for a sophisticated snack or a good coffee. Out on the panoramic terrace one can loose himself under a starlit night or delight in the breeze of a sunny day with the lemon trees that descend the slopes toward the sea.

Surroundings

Atrani, exceptional for its relaxed position, is located at the center of the Amalfi Coast. It is joined to Amalfi by a very pleasant walk and is not far away from other touristic centers and monuments of the Coast (Ravello, Positano, Vietri), which are accessible by frequent and rapid means of transport.
Throughout the centuries, the small village of Atrani has managed to conserve its medieval structure with strong reference to Arab-Norman domination.
Alleyways, arches, staircases, courtyards and plazas create a setting in which the homes, one on top of the other, and the stairways, woven in a labyrinth of narrow streets, form a sort of natural nativity scene.

Activities

Trekking. Extensive and well-organized paths: the most spectacular rightly called "Path of the gods", which leads from side to the other of the peninsula.
Excursions in canoe or a break at Cetara, picturesque marine village where you have to take at least one jar of anchovy sauce away with you.
It is possible to rent small boats and to participate in fishing trips.

Food, wine and crafts

The Coast boasts over 100 fish specialties: some of the best being shellfish, scorpion fish, cod and angler, all of which can be enjoyed in restaurants near the bed and breakfast. Plentiful also mackerel, especially in Atrani. Ravello and Tramonti DOC wines are also highly regarded. The Coast also boasts a long history of liqueurs (limoncello, mandarino, liquirizia, and nocino) that can be purchased in the nearby shops.
