Description

The B&B is in Licata borough, sunk in the green and in an area rich of art, set in the centre of a splendid bay on the south coast of Sicily.              A still uncontaminated paradise for holidays, with a mild climate and gentle breezes during all the year, where a crystal-clear sea laps against the gold of a very thin sand. Here nature meets history and art.
The House offers to his guests an occasion to spend a holiday of rest and relax. Guests are hosted in single, double, triple and four beds rooms endowed with all comforts (private bathroom, air conditioning, telephone and TV) and pets are welcome.
Furthermore the House has a large parking and a garden of 1000sm.

Surroundings

Licata's territory runs along approximately 20km of the coast, which is very various: from long sandy beaches eastward of the town to the picturesque cliffs of the Montagna and Mollarella Poliscia westward.
At 30km from the B&B rise the columns of the famous Greek temples of Concordia. In an hour by car you may also reach the Roman villa of Piazza Armerina (III-IV century a. C.) perfectly preserved and whose interior is decorated with splendid mosaics.
Agrigento and its Temples are at 40km, Mollarella's beach is at 2km.

Activities

As for sea and beach activities:
- Marianello's beach, which has no equipment neither facilities, but is very beautiful and with an easy access and car parking.
- Mollarella's gulf, a semicircular bay whose west end is the homonymous peninsula pushing out on the sea with a characteristic rock joined to land by a sandy tongue.
- St. Nicholas oxbow, on whose low bottoms you may have the luck to chance on some of the many wrecks that have been identified in the past years during underwater archaeological searches.
