Description
The farm lays among the green hills go down towards the large mirror of water, which is Garda's Lake. The old stone house is surrounded by a 25-hectares countryside where the only noises are that of chickens clucking and the shuffle of cattle in the stables. The owner's father was the veterinary doctor responsible for the entire Lake area: so among his patients there were Gabriele D'Annunzio dogs, from Vittoriale, his Villa nearby.
In the house adjacent to the restaurant, there are 4 guest rooms:
- "Rosa di Macchia" " two single wrought-iron beds and bathroom with shower,
- "Viola del Pensiero" : double bed and bathroom with shower,
- "Viola Mammola" : spacious room with canopy bed and bathroom with bathtub,
- "Frutti di Bosco" : double bed, two single beds in the mansard, and bathroom with bathtub.
Lodging is also possible in an old, stone rural building from the 1600's, made up of a living area with fireplace, and another five rooms with television and telephone equipped as such:
- Room 6 : 2 single beds + 2 single beds in the loft.
- Room 7 : 2 single beds + 1 French bed in the loft.
- Room 8 : 2 single beds + sofa-bed with two single beds.
- Room 9 : 1 double bed + sofa-bed with two single beds.
- Room 10: 1 double canopy bed + sofa-bed with two single beds.
We speak English, French, and German. Cribs are available for infants. Pets are welcome. You can dine in the restaurant. The farm is open year-round.

The Farm is 8km from Garda's lake and is in Salò borough. The nearest railway station is Desenzano del Garda, whilst at 30km there is Brescia-Montichiari airport.Many are the places to visit in the surroundings, among which we may cite:
the beautiful landscapes of Garda's lake inland: the Paper mills Valley, Valvestino dam, historic lemon trees plantations, Cima Rest's barns;
the many cities of art as Verona, Mantua, Brescia, Cremona, Trento...;
the characteristic towns overlooking Garda's lake, as Salò, Limone, Gargnano, Malcesine, Sirmione;
the many museums and historical/archaeological complexes as the Vittoriale in Gardone Riviera, Santa Giulia's museum and Tosio Martinengo's Picture gallery in Brescia, MART in Rovereto, Catullo's caves in Sirmione, Ducal Palace and Tè Palace in Mantua...
ActivitiesIn the farm it's possible to observe animals life (pasture, milking), to take promenades in our chestnut trees woods, to taste farm products as pork cold cuts, cheeses, extra-virgin olive oil.In the surrounding trekking and hiking, by foot and horse riding and with MB in the Natural Park Alto Garda Bresciano; boat trips, water sports (sailing, wind surfing, water ski, fishing) in Garda's lake, hunting in autumn-winter. Thermal baths and treatments at Sirmione's and Colà Laszise spas; golfing in 5 golf greens in 50 km range, the most famous amusement parks in Italy: Gardaland, Caneva, Zoo Safari. Wine and cuisine tours across the historical villages and Medieval fortresses of Valtellina, among which the splendid historic park of Rocca Manerba, to taste Garda's white and red wines, may be agreed in collaboration with Wines Road and Garda's Flavours organisations. Visit to Hruska-André Heller botanical Garden, to the Garden Park Sigurtà of Valeggio and to the Alive Nature Park, in Bettoni's Villa where in spring an important garden exhibition, “Delight's Garden”, is held. |
Food, wine and craftsIn our restaurant you'll be able to taste the ancient receipts of owner's granny. The employed ingredients are mainly from our farm production.To buy in the farm: cold cuts and sausages, extra-virgin olive oil, wines. Typical local products are oil, lake fish, wine, cheeses, grappa, cedar water, pastry products and craftsmanship works in olive tree wood. |
