Description
The House is at short distance from sea, half way between Syracuse and Catania, and only 15min from Catania airport. An ideal base to reach the most interesting tourist and cultural centres of East Sicily (Etna Volcan, Catania, Taormina, Syracuse, Noto and Pantalica).The estate is very wide and follows St. Leonard river course. Inside the property a small lake is situated, where often migrant birds rest, very rich of fishes.
In the farm house a welcoming restaurant hall and 8 rooms have been obtained, all with bathroom, air conditioning, verandah and TV.

Surroundings
From the farm is easy to reach beach resorts. Mountain excursions may be made to Etna volcan, and archaeological-cultural trips to Lentini, with its archaeological museum, Pantalica and its Necropolis, Vizzini's historic centre, Catania, capital city of the County, the splendid Taormina with its Greek ancient theatre, seat in summer of many important international shows, Noto and its beautiful Baroque architecture.
ActivitiesThe farm offers to its guests: guided excursions, walks and trekking, excursions by mountain bike, fishing in the lake, archery, play ground for children. |
Food, wine and craftsOur products are the result of a deep competence in agricultural world passing down from generation to generation, always using natural fertilizers without harmful pesticides. The farm grows mainly vegetables, citruses (red oranges of top quality varieties Tarocco and Moro), fruits (peaches) and olive trees, producing the oil to be used mainly in the farm. |
