Description

The country residence is an ancient village laying down on gentle sloping hills, among carobs and olive trees, sunk in the shining Sicilian light. It offers a refined hospitality in a context of rare beauty, in apartments or in double rooms accurately furnished with TV, fridge, air conditioning, opening on a garden and disposing of a patio or of an out door green space.
The nine apartments, reorganised according to architectural characters of the old manor farms, have 2,3 and 4 beds, bathroom and wide living room with kitchenette. The apartments Rosellina, Lantana, Bouganvillea and Gelsomino are on two floors: bedrooms are upstairs; the others all are on one floor.

- Melograno, Pera, Uva: Ground-floor apartments composed of double bedroom, bathroom, sitting room with double sofa bed, and equipped kitchenette. Two single beds can be substituted for the sofa bed. Heating and air-conditioning. Includes outdoor loggia or green space. Air - conditioning.
- Lantana: Apartment arranged on two levels. On the ground floor: sitting room, bathroom, equipped kitchenette and a single bed. Upstairs: a double bedroom. Private green space.
- Rosellina: Apartment arranged on two levels. On the ground floor: sitting room, bathroom, equipped kitchenette. Upstairs: a double bedroom. Private green space.
- Buganvillea, Gelsomino: Adjacent, symmetrical apartments with a common atrium; the units are arranged on two levels. On the ground floor: sitting room, bathroom, equipped kitchenette and double sofa bed (upon request may be substituted with two single beds). Upstairs: a double bedroom. Private green space.
- Ginestra, Oleandro: Ground-floor apartments composed of a double bedroom, bathroom, spacious sitting room with double sofa bed and equipped kitchenette. Upon request the sofa bed may be substituted with two single beds. Private green space.
The three double rooms (Moresca, Nocellara, Tonda Iblea) have private bathroom and a kitchenette cupboard with fridge. These units face onto a green meadow with centuries-old olive trees.
The residence is inside a beautiful park, with swimming pool and annexed Solarium.

Surroundings

The village is in the middle of very interesting itineraries: the Baroque architecture of Palazzolo Acreide, Noto, Modica, Ragusa, Ibla (which is part of UNESCO Heritage), Syracuse with the magic Ortigia and its archaeological sites, and Pantalica's Necropolis.
At short distance: the natural reserve of Vendicari, the volcanic little lakes of  Cava Grande del Cassibile, the golden beaches of Eloro and Fontane Bianche.
In all the villages of the area there are fairs and religious feasts, the most remarkable being St. Paul's  and St. Sebastian's in Palazzolo Acreide on June 29th and August 10th.
For both artistic and naturalistic itineraries we can organise for our guests guided tours in many languages. It is also possible to visit ancient water mills.
We can also book for you the tickets for classical representations in Syracuse Greek Theatre (secont half of May to the end of June).
