Description

The building, restored in 1998, has a millenarian history, with Roman rests in the area of the courtyard and Medieval architectural insertions. A 5000sm garden welcomes guests in a green embrace consenting them to enjoy a 360° panorama over the plan ranging from Faenza to Cesenatico. Here you will  spend the hotter hours of the day near the wide swimming pool, in the shadow of ancient pine trees, centuries old olive trees and fruit trees.
All the lodges are at first floor, three comfortable double rooms with private bathroom and two wide apartments: Gorgognano and Castelletto. Their names are inspired to the decorations on the abat-jours, all from Faenza. The furnishing is with  skilfully restored antique family furniture.
Gorgognano is a studio of 60sm with kitchenette, bathroom and 4 beds; Castelletto has two double rooms, bathroom and fitted kitchen. During the stay guests will be able to taste dishes and ancient flavours of Romagnol tradition.

Surroundings

The Farm is at short distance from cities of art as Faenza, ancient spas as Castrocaro and small Medieval jewels as Brisighella, with its Thermae and the Vena del Gesso Park.
At only 35km you'll find main sea resorts as Milano Marittima and Cesenatico as well as important cities of art as Ravenna, but also the amusement park of Mirabilandia.
Thank to its central position and very good road and railway connections, it is also possible to reach in a short time by train or by car important cities as Venice, Florence, Bologna, Ferrara, etc.

Activities

From our house it is possible to make interesting naturalistic excursions following marked paths, both by foot and by mountain bike (to rent in the farm), so enjoying the panoramas and the big variety of of flora and fauna characteristic of our area.
Or you may simply bask in sunshine at the border of the swimming pool and relax in the wide whirlpool.
In Faenza, at short distance, modern sport centres are available for athletics, five-a side, bowls and horse riding. In Riolo Terme there is a golf course.

Food, wine and crafts

In our farm we produce Romagnol tradition wines, Trebbiano and Sangiovese. With our apricots, cherries, quince apples, pears and plums we prepare tasty jams for jam tarts and for guests' breakfast. We also make experiments combining our fruits with cinnamon, cloves and vanilla. More than 300 olive trees give us every year an extra-virgin olive oil considered one of the best in Italy, delicious for fresh salads and “bruschettas”  (slices of grilled bread, rubbed with garlic and brushed with olive oil). In spring we host the bee hives of a local breeder, to produce a delicious acacia honey.
