Description

Our estate is an island in the island. Closed to outsiders, immersed in a Natural Protected Reserve, the farm is about 850 acres wide, with kilometres of golden sandy beach.
No concrete, no noises, the nature is wild, nearly primordial.
The hospitality is plain but generous in tiny, cosy apartments and suites in front of the Mediterranean Sea, surrounded by uncontaminated spaces ranging farther then the eye.
- Apartments 4 people are composed by living room with kitchen and sofa bed, 2 double rooms, one bathroom.
- Apartment 2 people are composed by living room with kitchen and sofa bed, one double room, one bathroom.
- Apartment Lepre is composed by living room with kitchen and sofa bed, one double room,  a second bedroom with bunk beds and one single bed, one bathroom.

Breakfast is served every morning at home by our staff, also outdoor, if you like, as every apartment has a canopy and a table of its own.
Climate is mild in winter, nearly African in July and August, very pleasant in the other seasons. Twice or three times every year a sirocco blows that makes winter seem like summer.
Vegetables may be bought of the farm biological production, directly from our Pino's kitchen garden.

Surroundings

Our farm is at 30km from Agrigento and its famous temples; at 5km from  Eraclea Minoa, ancient Greek-Roman settlement, with its amphitheatre and a museum. Some elements of great natural interest as the natural reserve of Plane trees, the Staircase of  the Turkish (a huge impressive rock formation) and the Salt mine (to book for visits), both in Realmonte, are at approximately 10km.
A little more distant, but always to reach with a one day trip, the great archaeological park of Selinunte (70km),  the Quarries of Cusa and the ancient temple of Segesta (100km); Maccalube's reserve with small clay volcanoes (50km).
