Description

The Agritourism and relais surrounded by a 100-hectare estate. It rises in the countryside of Caraffa di Catanzaro, at 200 meters above sea level, along the Corace River, in the most narrow part of Italy, a few kilometers from the Ionian and Tyrrhenian and the centers of natural, historic, and artistic beauty of Calabria.
Surrounded by a lush olive grove, the accommodation rises on a 19th-century land belonging to the Carthusian monastery of Serra San Bruno and until the last decades of the last century to the notable figures of the location.
Base of the present-day relais, the old stone house is constructed in a dominant position on the hills descending towards the sea.
At the center of the structure are two rooms for the restaurant and tasting of products: the more informal and intimate "Sala Fontanella" has an inlaid wood-burning fireplace which heats and livens the environment and the room "Vecchie scuderie", which for its large size and elegance of the decor is used for ceremonies and banquets.
The height of the buildings has made it possible to, on the top floor, have 10 comfortable rooms for a pleasant rest for guests. All rooms, decorated with taste and care on behalf of the owners, houses up to 4 people thanks to the presence of lofts realized with local wood and have air conditioning, TV, telephone, Internet...
