Description

The farm was purchased by the family who actually runs it in 1926. The farmhouse, restructured with respect to its origins, dates back to the end of the 1800's. It is made up of a spacious reception area, two restaurant rooms for guests, and a reading/TV room.
On the upper floor there are 4 bedrooms with private bathroom and TV, and 3 with shared bathroom.
The farm is surrounded by approximately 10 hectares of land cultivated with bread and durum wheat, sugar beet, corn, soy, and vegetables (white and red radicchio, lettuce, cabbage, cauliflower, savoy, fennel, tomato, eggplant, bell pepper).
The farm is family-run, open all year.

Surroundings

We are immersed in the greenery of the Ferrara countryside, two steps from Po Delta Park and from Comacchio, with its valleys and its seven Lidos.
In the vicinity you will also find the archaeological remains at Voghenza.
The farm is 3 km from the Ferrara-Mare Highway (Superstrada), therefore convenient for going towards Bologna, Padova, and Venice. A few minutes away is Ferrara, magnificent city of art patrimony of humanity, and Ravenna, with its marvelous mosaics.

Activities

At the agritourism bicycles are available for guests.
Nearby barge trips in the valley at Comacchio, Ostellato, and Portogaribaldi. At Ostellato you can rent canoes, houseboats, and horses.

Food, wine and crafts

The cuisine of the Agritourism offers typical dishes of the zone with exclusively seasonal products. The first courses served with seasonal vegetables, mixed roast meat, and meat cooked on the grill are all famous.
Only winter vegetables (fennel, lettuce, cauliflower, cabbage, heads of broccoli, and most of all red, varied, and white radicchio) are available for purchase on-site
