Description
On a hill near Ancona and Conero natural Park, only 3km from Adriatic sea, the Locanda, made in a 19th century wide farm house, provides for a warm hospitality in 9 comfortable rooms for a total number of 26 beds. All the rooms have air conditioning, private bathroom and satellite TV. The rooms have high ceilings with wooden beams and the original terracotta tiles, and oak wood floors. Some also have mezzanine to host children or groups of friends.
At ground floor there are the breakfast room and the restaurant and a wide hall for guests to relax, with two big fire places.
Outside there is a panoramic swimming pool with solarium and water games, a wide garden and play area. Pets allowed upon agreement.
The common rooms and the bedrooms all have been furnished by a renown craftsman, inspired to the world of animals, including also some period pieces.
There are facilities for handicapped.

Surroundings
In a strategic conditions to move about in the Marche region, the Locanda is sunk in the country, but nevertheless is only 3km from the sea, 6km from the A14 highway, 10km. from Ancona's port and railway station, haf way between Senigallia and Conero mount.
In 25km range we find destinations of naturalistic interest as Conero Park; seaside resorts endowed at the same time of historic centres of remarkable artistic interest as Portonovo, Sirolo, Numana, Senigallia; hillside towns with nice historic centres as Osimo, Jesi e Corinaldo; beautiful cities of art as Ancona, Macerata, Recanati, where important cultural and artistic events take place during the year; centres of great religious and artistic interest as Loreto.

ActivitiesThe Locanda is endowed with swimming pool, ping pong, playing area, there are bikes and quads (buggy go carts) for rental, classes to learn how to prune olive trees are organised.In the immediate surroundings (less than 10km) it is possible to rent boats (tourist port of Marina Dorica), there is a riding school, two golf clubs (lessons for absolute beginners at very low price), it's possible to visit Falconara's Zoo Park. |
Food, wine and craftsThe cooking, based on local products, is followed with loving care by the “innkeeper” Alessandra and proposes the flavours of traditional local dishes: home made pasta, meat, cheese and cakes...Our Locanda is the very core of a 60 hectares wide farm, where we accurately grow olive trees, grape-vines and more. Our extra-virgin olive oil is delicious. In a tour of cellars it's possible to taste and purchase or order to be delivered the typical renown local wines Rosso Conero, Lacrima di Morro d’Alba and Verdicchio. A tour of the oil mills will bring you to taste the extra-virgin olive oil. |
