Description

Tenuta Agritourism is approximately 3 hectares completely enclosed, near the long stretches of Salentine white sand and dunes at its transparent, crystal sea, immersed in the greenery and silence of the Mediterranean spot. An oasis of peace 2 km from the Ionian Sea, among the colors, scents, and flavors of Salento.
The pre-existent buildings (a tool shelter with tower and an antique 19th century stable with barn) have been restructured and expanded respecting the traditional rural architectural rules. Today there are 6 double rooms available to guests with private bathrooms, 2 suites (each composed of two double bedrooms with shared door and bathroom - without kitchen) and 2 functional mini-apartments with 4 places to sleep with bathroom and kitchenette. All are livable, decorated with taste and simplicity in harmony with the surroundings; they are equipped with air conditioning, refrigerator, hairdryer, and TV.
Outdoors guests have available a swimming pool, solarium, TV hall, veranda, reserved internal parking, bocce court, playground, private beach equipped with umbrellas and lounge chairs 2 km away, reception and atrium with chairs and tables and ample well-cared for yards.

Surroundings

La Tenuta is located at the southern tip of Salento, near S.P. Presicce - Lido Marini, in proximity of the most beautiful swimming locations on the Ionian Coast (Pescoluse, Torre Vado, Marine di Ugento, Torre Pali, Torre Mozza, Lido Marini). Reachable in very little time are also the cities S. Maria di Leuca, Gallipoli, Porto Cesareo, Otranto, and Lecce.

Brindisi airport 90km. Lecce train station 55km.
Shuttle available from airport/train station, payment required on booking. It is possible to hire a car through the farm.

Activities

Activities of every kind are organized:
-    Recreational: trips and excursions in boats, holidays and folk festivals take place in the nearby towns, theatrical performances:
-   Cultural: guided tours of the historic town centers of inland, of the terracotta artisan workshops, papier-maché, Lecca stone, flowering rush, wine/food-tasting;
-    Sport: on-site pool, bocce court, playground for children, bicycle rental, private beach with facilities (2 Km).
In the vicinity, tennis court, football/soccer pitch, diving center, horse riding, go-cart, skating, paths for jogging and running, ULM flying grounds with the possibility of scenic flights, and golf course 50 km away.

Food, wine and crafts

Products of the farm: extra -virgin olive oil, biscuits/cookies, candy, honey, sweets, vegetables in olive oil, a cosmetics line with an olive oil base and perfumes with Mediterranean scents.
It is possible to enjoy the selection of local high quality wines.
