Description

Agritourism immersed in the countryside of Eastern Sicily, with panoramic views of the sea, Mt. Etna, and Taormina. It is the ideal location for enjoying a comfortable and relaxing vacation in any period of the year, immersed in our marvelous climate.
Guests stay in rural houses completely renovated and surrounded by citrus gardens. The rooms are double, king, triple, and quadruple. Rooms 3 and 4 are connected by a shared bathroom, making them ideal for families.
On the premises is an antique millstone recently restored and accessible to guests. In addition there is a lounge with satellite TV, parking, use of kitchenette, informative materials, advice for guests, and guided tours.
The agritourism is characterized by cordial family ownership and is open year-round.

Surroundings

The agritourism is located in the territory of the township of Giarre, in a strategic position between Catania and Taormina. From here it is possible to easily reach the primary touristic points of archaeological, marine, and natural interest in combination with the desire to relax and to discover the culture and traditions of Sicily.
Less than 30 km away: Acireale and the Timpa, that is a ridge of peaked lava rock on the sea 7 km long and completely covered with vegetation; the sea town of S. Maria la Scala; the marine reserve "Isole dei Ciclopi" (Cyclops Island) with the characteristic towns of Acitrezza and Accastello; the nature reserve "Oasi del Simeto" (Simeto Oasis); Fiumefreddo; le Gole dell'Alcantara, Giarre, and Riposto. A little bit further: the mosaics of Armerina Square (110 km), Syracuse (95 km), Noto (115 km), and Caltagirone.

Food, wine and crafts

At breakfast, it is possible to taste orange marmalade and kumquat jam, homemade preserves and honey made on-site. To overnight guests, there is excellent restaurant service with typical Sicilian plates created following traditional recipes. Wide is the range of D.O.C. wines from Etna and the wide variety of famous Sicilian pastries.
The agritourism cultivates all according to organic farming methods and is certified by ICEA. It offers its guests the choice of purchasing genuine produce as soon as it is picked: lemons, kumquats, vegetables, seasonal fruit, eggs, dried fruit. In addition, the agritourism produces and packages: limoncello, kumquat liquor, orange liquor, pomegranate liquor, jams, honey, aromatic oil.
