Description

The house is an ancient stone farm house entirely restored, situated on the top of Monte Rumeno's hill, inside the Natural Reserve and with direct access to the paths of the park.
From its panoramic position it dominates, in absolute loneliness, the splendid view embracing river Paglia's upper valley from Radicofani to Mount Amiata, as far as the northern slope of Bolsena's Lake hollow.
7 apartments, displaced on two floors, all have outdoor space with independent access, a large living room with kitchen corner, sofa bed and fire place and, upstairs, bedroom and shower bathroom.
Every lodge has independent heating, kitchen equipped with fridge and electric oven. The furnishing is mostly made of restored period furniture. In restoration works ancient stone walls have been recuperated also interiorly, whilst chestnut wood beams characterise all the rooms. Two of the apartments have two bedrooms. The house is an ideal one for families and groups of friends. On request a large common hall with use of kitchen and bathroom is also available. The house can host comfortably up to 20 people.

Surroundings

We are in High Tuscia, in Acquapendente borough, the last town of Latium at a few kilometres from Tuscany and Umbria, two hours by car from Rome and Florence. The house is near Bolsena's Lake and mount Amiata, at short distance from the splendid Orvieto, from the fascinating dying town of Acquapendente, from the Medieval towns of Etruscan origin of Sovana, Pitigliano and Sorano, from Montalcino and Pienza. We are inside the Natural Reserve of Mount Rufeno.
