Description

A 15 hectares farm dedicated to Appaloosa horses growing. In the main building live the owners' family, whilst two stone farm buildings host the guests. The scullery hosts 12 horses, there is a saddlery and a large aviary where the most beautiful species of parrots live, unique in the region of Molise.
Shadowed by a centuries old oak tree two ancient farm buildings had risen on the rests of an original temple dedicated to St. Stephen They have been restored to be destined to rural hospitality.
So these are not simple and anonymous hotel rooms, but a true portrait of country culture. The guests will live moments of quiet and serenity in an uncontaminated green environment in contact with nature and animals.
All the rooms have a pleasant folksy look: walls are in stone, wooden ceilings, terracotta tiles floors and folksy furniture give to the house the warm atmosphere of old country houses. All the rooms have a splendid view over the surroundings mountains and valleys.
Both the building have private bathroom, independent heating, kitchenette with fridge, satellite TV, DVD reader, washing machine, stone fire place, veranda with barbecue and dining tables outdoor, green area fitted with swings and hammocks.

WINTER - SKIING AT CAPRACOTTA
3 days/2 nights -  B&B service with kitchenette, in twin or quadruple room + ski pass for Capracotta ski station, ski boots and skis (rental) for the entire day, Saturday, with lunch on Sunday: 100 Euros per person.
Children 0 to 3 years free.
Children 3 to 10 years 20% discount.
Not valid from December 23rd to January 2nd.

2-DAY MINITREKKING ON HORSEBACK  (minimum 4 people)
3 days/2 nights - full-board service, in twin or quadruple room.
Arrive Friday afternoon, dinner, and overnight stay. Saturday: entire day on horseback on the paths and tracks of the Altomolise. Return Sunday at 1 p.m., lunch and one for the road. Departure.
200 Euros per person.

3-DAY HORSE TREKKING (minimum 4 people)
4 days/3 nights - full-board service, in twin or quadruple room.
Arrive Thursday afternoon, dinner, and overnight stay.
Friday and Saturday entire days on horseback on the paths and tracks of the Altomolise. Return on Sunday at 1 p.m., have lunch, and one for the road. Departure.
300 Euros per person.

 

Surroundings

Our is a rural village at 840m.a.s.l., situated on a panoramic hill at 3km from Agnone, in the green and unpolluted core of Molise, a sort of terrace dominating the snowy mountains of Capracotta, the joyful valley of Verrino river and the rocky massif of Pietrabbondante. Here the ancient brave people of Sanniti built their fortified houses.
Molise is a still unknown region and far from the great holiday circuits, so you will discover the pleasure of taking a holiday without feeling like a tourist!
