Description

Near the Sentiero degli Dei (Paths of the Gods), five minutes from Amalfi, the Villa boasts a splendid panorama. Having left the car in the convenient parking area below, you arrive here with a characteristic and rather long walk among the typical lemon groves.
The 5 rooms, all with sea view, are equipped with air conditioning, TV, minibar, and a spacious and comfortable bathroom. In some you will find a jacuzzi bathtub and a massage armchair.
The suite is a step back in time: ceilings with chestnut wood beams and staves, ceramic Vietri pavement, taps and lampshades that will remind you of your grandmother's house. Once its four windows are open it is like discovering a painting.
A small pool, solarium, living area with bar, music, large-screen TV and DVD player are available to guests; parking on the coastal street is free or private parking (10 Euros a day); lunches and dinners on request.
The trip from the coastal street to the villa is 300 steps. Porters are available. The first piece of luggage is carried for free, every extra piece has an additional charge of 5 Euros.

Surroundings

To visit in Amalfi: Ancient Arsenals, Valley of the Mulini, Ferriere Valley, the Duomo; in Conca Dei Marini: Blue Grotto, Santa Rosa Convent; in Positano: Li Galli; in Ravello: Villa Rufolo, Villa Cimbrone, the Duomo; Torri Costiere; in Minori: S. Trofimena Basilica; in Scala: the Duomo; in Paiano: S. Luca Basilica.
How to arrive:
- By train: get off in Salerno and take a bus or ferry for Amalfi.
- By plane: Land at Napoli Capodichino and take a taxi for Amalfi, or a shuttle unto the ferry pier of Naples (Beverello) and then a ferry for Amalfi. You can also take a bus from Napoli Centrali to Amalfi.
Once in Amalfi, it is a 20-minute walk. Transfers are available from Amalfi to the villa at a cost of 10 Euros.
The villa organizes transfers in private cars: to/from Salerno (50 Euros), to/from Naples (80 Euros).
In the summer period ferries and hydrofoils connect Amalfi, Positano, and the most important centers of the coast with Salerno, Capri, and Sorrento. All year round there is a frequent coach service making a private car unnecessary.

Activities

The direction organizes trips in canoe, trekking along the paths of the coast, tourist fishing, excursions to Capri, cooking and ceramic courses. The hotel has a natural solarium.
In the summer months along all of the Coast are organized festivals of various types (gastronomic, cinematographic, dance...).

Food, wine and crafts

By the same owners of the villa is a panoramic restaurant in Atrani, located 20 meters from the sea, right at the entrance of the very famous piazza. The restaurant has two approaches: the first is dedicated entirely to Mediterranean tradition, that searches to rediscover old fish recipes (and not only these); the other leans toward experimentation and novelty, that explores combining new and creative recipes without ever forgetting their true origins.
