Description

The B&B has been obtained in a small villa of the '50 entirely reorganised, in the centre of the town and near to the sea. The building was designed by the owner who is an architect, painter and sculptor, and the the villa hosts also a permanent gallery of his works.
So the House is meant to welcome, with B&B formula, artists from all the world, who may wish to have here a pleasant holiday and to create and/or show their work. Obviously, not only artists! For all the guests we organise art classes (painting and mixed techniques) and guided visits to Gallipoli and Salento area with selected art paths.
The House has 4 rooms and two suites, all with private bathroom, all dedicated to great artists of the past as Van Gogh, Leonardo, D'Annunzio, Canova, Bach, Mondrian. The suites have a beautiful vista over the sea, the rooms all have digital TV, heating, air conditioning, embroidered bed linen.
A rich breakfast is served in the cosy terrace in front of the sea, endowed with water massage, where from April to October it is possible to have a break painting, writing, chatting or, for instance, assisting to the show of pyrotechnics in Santa Cristina's day, one of the most important dates in Gallipoli's summer.
At guests' disposition Internet point, solarium, laundry, library, painting hall, tourist information materials, video-controlled parking. Shuttle available, bicycles, scooters and boats for rent.
We speak English, French, German and Spanish.

Surroundings

We are in the centre of the new Gallipoli, at 300m from its historic centre.
Gallipoli is well known not only for it splendid position on the Ionian sea coast, but also for its history, tradition, its intense cultural life and its gastronomy. At 40km from Lecce, Otranto and Santa Maria di Leuca, this nice town is an ideal base to visit the whole Salento's region.

Activities

In the House guests may use the painting workshop to create their art works, take sun and water massages on the panoramic terrace in front of the sea.
Artists will be able to show their works in the personal gallery of the owner.
In the surroundings water sports, diving, tennis, five-a-side and horse riding may be practised.

Food, wine and crafts

In the area it is possible to buy olive oil, Salento's typical wines, home made pastas (orecchiette, minchiareddhi, sagne torte), fresh fish and seafood, ricotta cheese and several tipes of cheeses.

Landscape: Sea	Booking Policy: After booking with RJ, a further 25% should be paid directly to the house by bank transfer. The 25% will be lost in case of cancellation. In case of cancellation after the 20th day before check the House will require the whole amount.
